” For me, a good drawing should not only have spontaneous flowing lines, but must also be part of a well-designed composition. That’s when a good drawing becomes a work of art.”
By the way, when you Google my bio from the Hall of Fame, also take a look at a recent short speech I gave about my first trip to Germany back when I was creating ads for
Volkswagen. It’s pretty funny.

My birthday speech when being honored by ROBERT CENEDELLA at The Art Students League today:
“As many of you know, today I celebrate my 49th birthday. As I approach my half a century milestone, I have come to realize that, despite the myriad of challenges, I have much to be grateful for. In fact, it is the myriad of challenges that I have the utmost gratitude for because they are the refinement of my soul!
On this special day, I would like to honour and express my appreciation to all of you for challenging yourselves to be the talented artist that you are, and for allowing me to play a role in that process.
I also want to acknowledge the excellent work of my fellow models, and monitors, Robert Cenedella, and the Art Students League for allowing me the opportunity to inspire!”
